The 2nd law (MUSE)

The 2nd law is the 6th studio album by muse and it's the first album completly made in London, it came out the 1st of Occtober 2012 and it ment the immediate return of the band.
It's perhaps th most experimental album of all, with new instruments and sounds such as: a choir, a brass section, a 40 piece orchestra, a Misa Kitara and others...

Supremacy is the most dediverse song mabe of all the album. Chris in an interview says "it starts with  this big sleezy metal riff, but then the strings take it some place else,then obviously matt comes in with the voccals and the whol thing builds up to the end where it all finishes in silence"

Madness was a new aproche to music for muse, introducing the "Misa Kitara", a new instrument that satisfyes both guitar and synth  players.
The song itself comes from a blues style song they made, but they then decided to try mixing also electronic into the song, and everything finishes with a "Queen style solo", then a vocal climaxe where everything becomes bigger and then the song slowly takes you away and then releases you at the end.

Panic station is th first song whereyou can hear muse having fun, the song is very
danc-y  and very funky. It's also recorded with the trumpet player form the song "Superstition" by "stevie wonder".
it's everything you can find in a song: it's fun, it's danc-y, it's funky, it's sexy , it's everything

Prelude is a short song that comes before "Survival".

Survival is the biggest  song in the album maybe, it's about never giving up no matte what, cause soon it will pay off.
it has the most elements of all th album and also in this song it reaches a climaxe at the end, where everything  is lifted when matt sings "yes i'm gonna win"

Follow me is a song that talks about trying to create safety for a loved one, it is the first song by muse completly made with electronic components, also some dubstep in the chorus.

Animals is a song that talks about the "Bush family" but also about the gneral idea of "owning nature".
The song vagely reminds me of something jane's addiction might do.

Explorers is a perfect lullaby in my opinion and it's a perfect combination of classical/New age and pop rock in the minor esay listening format.

Big freeze is in my opinion the real ending to the album.
The song talks about the world melting down because of human growth.
It might remind the ear to something "U2 styled"

Save me is a song sang by chris and composed by him too, it talks about his alcholism and how only loved ones can help someone get through  it.

Liquid state is another song sang by chris about his problems with alchol, but this one is more violent and "Hysteria" musicaly related to

The 2nd law is a 2 part "synphony" where in part 1 there is a dubstep breakdown (somthing new) and part 2 is almost instrumental
